Rules, Expectations & How We Play Together
At Sheridan Tennis Club, we value respect, growth, and having fun. These guidelines help create a positive and inclusive environment for everyone.
All members must treat others with respect, regardless of skill level
Arrive on time for practices, matches, and events
Follow proper tennis court etiquette at all times
No unsportsmanlike conduct, including arguments or disruptive behavior
Appropriate athletic attire and equipment must be worn during play
Maintain a positive and supportive attitude toward teammates
Be open to feedback and willing to improve your skills
Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive club environment
Represent the club respectfully both on and off the court
Encourage teamwork and sportsmanship during all activities
Attend scheduled practices and club events regularly
Inform organizers in advance if you are unable to attend
Actively participate and put in effort during sessions
Support teammates during matches and tournaments
Stay engaged and committed throughout the season
Membership is limited to current Sheridan students
Personal information collected is used only for club communication
Repeated absences without notice may result in removal from the club
Violations of club rules may lead to warnings or suspension
The club reserves the right to update policies when necessary
